What you need to know!

Next Open Row: TBD

Program description: During these unprecedented times, we are working hard to find a way to get our athletes on the water. This Open Row session will not be competitive and will not involve any regattas. This is simply a recreational opportunity to get on the water, practice skills and learn new ones. Athletes will be grouped based on experience and other factors such as height and speed.

Participation: The program is open to current high school students and rising 8th graders in Loudoun County. We are including Seniors that graduated this year and missed their final rowing season. Students must have basic swimming skills as a prerequisite to participate in on-water activities. All forms and payment must be submitted prior to the first day of Open Row. SPACE IS LIMITED AND WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

How do I register? - Registration will be open July 1-3. You must register on line. Once we have received your registration, we will add your email to the Sign-Up-Genius (SUG). The SUG will be sent out once the registrations are processed,  and you may register for your desired session(s).  Registering DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE A SEAT. SEATS ARE RESERVED ON THE SUG and are limited based on Coaching availability and accommodating for COVID restrictions.  COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SEAT!

Requirements: Parents must attest to student's swimming ability and sign off on waiver and release of liability forms for Miles Make Champions Rowing Club. Athletes must follow ALL COVID-19 safety measures, failure to do so will result in removal from program with no refund.

Cost: $50.00 per session. No refunds.

Rowing location: Algonkian Regional Park, 47001 Fairway Dr., Sterling, VA 20165

**note: if forms or payment are incomplete by start date of week, your athlete will not be permitted to participate.
